Ethics
Vestor Realty Consultants adheres to strict ethical standards to avoid any actual or perceived conflicts of interest. We complete appraisal and consulting engagements in accordance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) published by the Appraisal Standards Board of The Appraisal Foundation. We also follow the Code of Professional Ethics and Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice of the Appraisal Institute.
We provide honest and realistic opinions of value, with the market analysis necessary to provide a quality-oriented solution to clients’ needs. We charge a fair and equitable fee for our professional services.
Client focus
We realize that some clients are unfamiliar with appraisals, and we view this situation as a teaching opportunity. We offer every prospective client a free, up-front consultation about intended use, intended users and scope of work. During this consultation, we listen to, ask questions of, educate and guide the prospective client. Our goal: Provide an appraisal or consulting report solution that is the most cost-effective and timely appraisal report option.
We also tell prospective clients when an appraisal or consultation is not required or recommended. If a related service such as business valuation is required, we can refer the prospective client to reliable professionals. If we believe that we lack sufficient experience or competency, we will inform the prospective client and will decline the assignment.
